Last week, GRAMS hosted the annual NAIDOC Elders Luncheon at The Geraldton Multipurpose Centre. Celebrating NAIDOC Week with the members of our community is one of our yearly highlights. With a total of 74 people in attendance, the event had a variety of activities for the Elders to enjoy such as free haircuts, massages, gifts, raffles, and a delicious lunch.
The group was also treated to a special performance from the Wilinyu Dance Group! We would especially want to thank St. John of God Geraldton for providing us with a wonderful and delectable roast lunch and desserts to make sure everyone was well-fed.
The Elders Luncheon is an opportunity for us to give back to the Elders and recognise their important contributions to the community. We’re thrilled that everyone had a good time at the event and we look forward to the next one.
