We Can Together

GRAMS in partnership with Stopping Family Violence delivers "We Can Together" - a ground-breaking Aboriginal men's brief intervention program.

This program brings our Aboriginal men together in Carnarvon who are seeking a stronger and healthier relationship with their partners, family, and community. This program consists of 10 sessions, held fortnightly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Carnarvon.

The program facilitators are Kameli Rova and Carmen Reilly with supervision from David Batty, First Nations project coordinator at Stopping Family Violence.

About the program

“We Can Together” has been designed to hold men accountable for violence against women and children in Carnarvon.

We focus on:

  • Accountability and responsibility
  • The safety of women and children
  • Partner and family contact
  • Getting participants work-ready
  • Cultural connection

Program details

Length: 10 weeks

Time and Day: 10 am to 2 pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays fortnightly. Plus off-week engagement activities – e.g. White Card, First Aid, Driver’s licence.

Location: Carnarvon Shopping Centre (Robinson Street entrance)

Registration: This is a closed program. Only men who register prior to commencement of the program can attend. Lunch is provided. To register yourself or clients, please contact:
