Last Tuesday 30th September, David Batty (Suicide Prevention CLO) from GRAMS facilitated a Red Dust Healing workshop with seven employees from AVIVO Geraldton. AVIVO provides care services for people who need support due to disability, ageing or mental ill-health.

Last week, GRAMS hosted the annual NAIDOC Elders Luncheon at The Geraldton Multipurpose Centre. Celebrating NAIDOC Week with the members of our community is one of our yearly highlights. With a total of 74 people in attendance, the event had a variety of activities for the Elders to enjoy such as free haircuts, massages, gifts, raffles, and a delicious lunch.

This year the theme is “Protect Our Environment” which focuses on the environmental impact that smoking is having on our lands, and what people around the world can do to claim their right to health, healthy living, and to protect future generations.
