Maintaining healthy teeth, mouth and gums is important for your general health and wellbeing.
The main goal is to prevent complications to your oral health such as tooth decay (cavities) and gum disease.
Good oral health practices such as brushing and flossing, as well as regular visits to dental health professionals can help you prevent oral health problems and have a pain-free mouth.
Regular dental check ups are important to help keep your teeth and gums healthy. It is recommended that you visit the dentist at least every 6 months or as instructed by your dental health professional.
To be eligible for dental services you must be a current clinic client with a healthcare card, pensioner concession or department of veteran’s affairs card OR be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
