About The Role
The Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (GRAMS) is seeking experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to join our team on a Casual basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal people across Geraldton, Midwest and the Murchison regions.
Selection Criteria
Essential:
- Current registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA
- Experience working in a Community Health or Primary Health care setting
- Experience in preventative / primary health care
- Knowledge of Aboriginal culture, health and related issues and the ability to work effectively with the Aboriginal people of Geraldton and the Murchison Region
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to coordinate other staff members and work independently as a part of a multi-disciplinary tea
Desirable:
- Knowledge of family networks within the Geraldton, Midwest and Murchison regions
Practice Requirements
- Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
- Current unrestricted Driver's Licence
- You can be tested for having used drugs at any time
