Heal Country NAIDOC Photography Competition

The NAIDOC 2021 theme - Heal Country! - calls for all of us to continue to seek greater protections for our lands, our waters, our sacred sites and our cultural heritage from exploitation, desecration, and destruction. 

This year, GRAMS NAIDOC Photography Competition is also proudly sponsored by Geraldton YAMAJI Art Centre. 

For this year's NAIDOC Photography Competition 2021 we invite you to take a photo of what HEAL COUNTRY means to you. Along with your photo, you will also be required to submit a paragraph explaining what your photo means, and how it fits into this year's theme of HEAL COUNTRY

Categories

15 years and under. 

16 to 30 years old. 

31 to 50 years old. 

51 years and over. 

Professional/Semi-Professional (any age) 

This year you will be asked to provide proof of age for your chosen category. Awards this year will only be received for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each of the categories. An overall Photo of the Year will be chosen from only the 1st places prize winners from each of the categories. 

Terms and conditions 

This year you can only enter one photo in your chosen age category. You can only enter if you have taken the photo yourself. The photo can't have been taken by a professional in any of the age categories. The photo must have been taken in the last year 2020/2021. You must also be of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Descent. This year you will be asked to provide proof of age for your chosen category. 

The competition has closed. Winners will be announced soon.
