Emergency Ambulance Fee Support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders
From 1 January 2025 to 30 June 2026, St John WA is making emergency ambulance services more affordable for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 years and over.
Have a Pension Concession Card?
Your emergency ambulance call will be fully covered.
Don’t have a Pension Concession Card?
You’ll receive a 50% discount on the cost of your emergency ambulance call.
How to access this support:
In the ambulance: Let the crew know you are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and show your Pension Concession Card if you have one.
After the service: Call (08) 9334 1222 or email billing@stjohnwa.com.au to have your bill adjusted.
This applies to emergency ambulance services in both country and metropolitan areas provided by St John WA.
