As the first point of contact for our clinic, you'll help ensure every client feels welcomed, respected and supported while working alongside a passionate multidisciplinary team committed to improving health outcomes.
About the Role
As our Medical Receptionist, you'll:
- Welcome clients and visitors with professionalism and respect.
- Manage appointments, phone enquiries and client records.
- Provide administrative support to our clinical team.
- Assist with Medicare and Communicare processes.
- Help keep our busy clinic running smoothly every day.
- Build positive relationships with clients, staff and community members.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in medical reception or a similar administrative role.
- Delivers outstanding customer service.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
- Can multitask in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Works well independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Values confidentiality, professionalism and culturally respectful care.
Desirable
Experience with:
- Communicare
- Medicare billing
- Medical terminology
- RACGP/AGPAL accreditation processes
