Gascoyne Outreach Service (GOS), part of Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (GRAMS), is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team in Carnarvon.

About the Role

Reporting to the Clinic Coordinator, you will:

• Provide comprehensive primary healthcare and clinical nursing services.
• Conduct health assessments, immunisations, chronic disease management, and wound care.
• Deliver health education and health promotion activities to individuals and the community.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with community members and stakeholders.
• Contribute to quality improvement and continuous service development initiatives.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience working in an Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS) or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO).
• Previous experience in primary healthcare and chronic disease management.
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and a commitment to culturally safe healthcare.
• Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal health issues and their impact on health outcomes.
• Knowledge and experience using Communicare or a similar patient management system.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
• National Police Clearance.
• Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain one.
