The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the GOS clinic while delivering high-quality nursing care and supporting positive health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in the Gascoyne region. This position plays a key role in clinic coordination, chronic disease management, health promotion, staff support, accreditation activities, infection control, and ensuring quality clinical care is delivered across the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the GOS clinic.
- Provide quality nursing care and clinical support.
- Support chronic disease management and health promotion activities.
- Coordinate clinic staff, visiting specialists.
- Maintain clinical policies, accreditation, and compliance requirements.
- Support infection control, WHS, and continuous quality improvement
- Assist with staff support, orientation, and professional development.

Essential Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Previous experience working with chronic disease management.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Current unrestricted Driver’s License.
- National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working within Aboriginal health and/or community nursing.
- Immunization Provider qualification or equivalent
- Sound computing skills
