The Deadly Cru Youth Team and Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) Team organised a school holiday program for kids to get active and involved in some fun activities.

The first day of the holiday program started with a visit to the Greenough wildlife park. The kids had a great time feeding the animals including kangaroos, horses, cows, and alpacas.

After feeding the big animals the kids also got to feed adorable baby lambs. The group finished the day with a healthy lunch including ham, salad rolls and some fresh fruit.

On the second day of the school holiday program, it was a warm day and so the Deadly Cru team loaded the kids up early and took them out to Horrocks Beach to cool off and have fun. The kids had a great day swimming and jumping off the jetty.

Debbie and Yvonne from the GRAMS Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Team prepped fresh fruit for morning tea and Brent from the TIS Team organise a yummy BBQ lunch for the kids to enjoy. Once lunch settled the kids were straight back in the clear blue water for a quick dip before heading home.

On the 24th of January, the kids had a day at the pool to enjoy some exciting water games. They started with a swim in the pool followed by having fun on the BIFF, Tarzan rope and using the big slide.

They stopped for lunch by the pool and then the kids were straight back into the water having a great time splashing about.

The last day of school holiday fun was going to the foreshore and letting the kids go for a swim, play in the water park, and finishing up with a BBQ and fresh fruit.

Thank you to everyone who helped out during the school holiday program and we look forward to hosting the next one soon!
