This is a birth preparation class specifically catered for Indigenous women and their families. Birth preparation classes improve birth outcomes and the participants are more likely to feel empowered, as knowledge is power. Join us on Friday, 21st June, for an informative session aimed at providing you with information on what to expect and how to best prepare yourself, your family, and your new bub for the birthing experience and adjusting to a new routine as a parent. This event will be run in partnership with Telehealth and GRAMS, with GRAMS midwives present. Be welcomed into a safe space for mum, dad, and family to learn about what to expect when giving birth and during the first few days after Baby is born. This session will include plenty of time for questions to make sure you leave feeling empowered and prepared. A light lunch and drinks will be provided. Contact your midwife to book a place in the session.
