Antenatal & Postnatal

GRAMS and visiting health professionals provide care to families before, during and after pregnancy at the clinic on Wednesdays (all day) and Thursdays (8:30am to 12:30pm). Hospital visits are carried out on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon for GRAMS patients, pre and post-delivery.

Antenatal clinics are held on the last Tuesday of every month from 9:30am and 2:00pm at the Mullewa hospital with a midwife and Aboriginal Health Worker in attendance.

Diabetic Clinic (age 40 years and over)

Available every Tuesday promoting diabetes education, awareness and registration. Blood tests, healthy food for patients with diabetes, advice, care plans, information, dietician available and podiatrist available. Glucometers are available to diabetes patients as well as chronic disease checks. An under 40 diabetic clinic is available on Thursday mornings for younger people with diabetes.

Child Health & Immunisations

Supporting families in understanding growth and development of children. Available Monday to Friday between 8:30am to 3:30pm. Immunisations available every Monday.

Hearing & Eye Health

GRAMS provides hearing checks and retinal screenings at the clinics and also has Aboriginal Health Workers attending schools for screenings.

Dental Health Services

A dental service is available every week on a Wednesday for concession card holders. Please note that children between the ages of 5-17 are referred to school programs.

Physiotherapy

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy can help for all your aches and pains, neck, back, shoulder & sporting injuries as well as rehabilitation. Women’s health physiotherapy is offered for ante and postnatal care, bladder dysfunction and control, ultrasound, rehabilitation and advice after breast cancer surgery.

Sexual Health

Support service in the area of sexual health for both male and female patients. Tracking and tracing of STI’s patients throughout the Mid West collaborating with public health providers.

Drug and Alcohol

Individual and group counselling for Adults and Youth. GRAMS work closely with social and emotional wellbeing staff and other agencies in the Mid West to provide the best support. GRAMS can provide brief intervention for Drug and Alcohol issues and can arrange residential rehabilitation and at home detoxification if required.

Respiratory Clinic

Held weekly and as required, the clinic includes spirometry testing, asthma care plans and chronic obstructive airway disease care plans.

Wellbeing Clinic (under 40’s)

The Wellbeing Clinic’s vision is to improve the quality of life (mind, body and soul) for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families living in the Mid West region. GRAMS offers health prevention workshops, and child health development programs for young indigenous mothers and their babies.

Psychologist

Your mental health is important to us. The GRAMS psychologist can provide counselling to both adults and children for depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Pre-Consult & Treatment

Triaging of patients, wound management, dressings, blood tests, ECG’s suturing, minor procedures, flu vaccinations, follow up care, BP checks, acute care, health information, education and awareness are all services that GRAMS can help you with.
